Book launch by Margaret Skea, Motherwell.

Margaret Skea.
I entered many things here, copied from pages everywhere about why Margaret Skea was worth reading and listening to. But then I deleted them all and thought to write it myself. Margaret is a Historical fiction writer that bears comparison to Hilary Mantel, Ken Follet and sometimes Bernard Cornwall and Kate Mosse. Meticulous in design, her tales reverberate the facts of history leading to wonderful stories that may well be true if only we knew the thoughts in people's heads.
If you are a fan of historical fiction that comes as close to fact as it possible to get whilst still being fiction, then I would recommend reading Margarets books. Alternatively, why not go along and see her live in Motherwell on the fifteenth of February at the GLO Centre at 2.30pm. It is free.

What’s New With Raymond Walker

May the first 2026 will see the release of "The Dark Kind" . a dark Faerie Tale. The River Tales have been going on for almost twenty years and May this year will see them all concluded in a very dranatic finale.

a completely new novel and an ending to all of the river tales.  It will be hearalded, Proclaimed and advertised as both the publishers and public are awaiting a conclusion to "The dead girl and the wandering tree".  Well this is it.

"Sad Green Eyes" will follow soon after. I hope. and a little while after that "The living room" though that may be twenty twentyseven.
