The Dark Kind

It looks as though "Maeve" will be in my next novel as well. This, new novel, is an unexpected book. I had not even considered writing it a few months ago, the idea appeared fully formed and I have attacked it with gusto, the majority of the book formed already, though it will be a long time before it hits the market. The provisional title is "The Dark Kind" and like "He, who is lost" and "She Wept Black Tears" will be a dark Faerie Tale.

A meeting between human and faerie with dreadful consequences. I will tell you more about it when it is finished and in a form worth reading, at the moment, it is a mishmash of short stories, history and fables held tenuously together.
