A Game of Ghosts by John Connolly.

I have read all the "Charlie Parker" books. I enjoyed them all, so it was a win already for me buying this book. This was not the best of them but was still a thoroughly enjoyable read. Mr. Connollys foray through a combined detective and horror series of novels works well for me. He is also a wonderful writer at times, A bonus for the bibliophile like me. But the most important thing is the story, and it is told wonderfully.
It is rare that he has erred from a marvelous tale and this novel is no exception. For those of you that love "detective" novels and those who enjoy "horror" tales you are in for a treat.

What’s New With Raymond Walker

Mid May 2025 will see the release of "The Pale Shadow" . An unusual ghost story. Raymond wishes this to be a quiet release as it follows the story of an earlier (deleted) book that he wished to improve.

"The Dark Kind" will follow before the end of this year (2025) a completely new novel and an ending to all of the river tales.  It will be hearalded, Proclaimed and advertised as both the publishers and public are awaiting a conclusion to "The dead girl and the wandering tree".  After that will come "Sad Green Eyes" around may 2026. Then...who knows.
