All that we read breeds in our brain.

I wish to be, and always try to be, a writer of truly original stories. I am now sixty odd years old and have read innumerable books. Each of those books still sits in a little part of my memory and seeps into other parts of my brain. I suppose that when I write well it is Jack London, Mervyn Peake, Eowyn Ivey or a thousand others that have influenced me who are really doing the writing.
I do try to be completely original.
