As someone interested in literature and culture, how do you feel about the idea of robots possibly creating art or writing in the style of famous authors?

I don't mind the idea, strangely. I have resigned myself to the inevitability. I suppose with the advent of AI it is already here. I know that many authors are already using AI to produce new titles faster and with less effort. Outline a story, let an AI write it and all you have to do is edit. A two year job done in a couple of months. I do not blame them. Writing is a long and tedious, time consuming, process, why not let an AI do the grunt work?
I do not allow this but many other authors do.

Robots, however, are a long way from today. Automatons engineered and controlled by AI exist already but they are not Robots. A moving, almost humanoid, machine controlled by AI is still a distant idea. But AI’s creating books and Art is already happening and will only become more prevalent. We, the human race, are making our own selves redundant.

What’s New With Raymond Walker

Mid May 2025 will see the release of "The Pale Shadow" . An unusual ghost story. Raymond wishes this to be a quiet release as it follows the story of an earlier (deleted) book that he wished to improve.

"The Dark Kind" will follow before the end of this year (2025) a completely new novel and an ending to all of the river tales.  It will be hearalded, Proclaimed and advertised as both the publishers and public are awaiting a conclusion to "The dead girl and the wandering tree".  After that will come "Sad Green Eyes" around may 2026. Then...who knows.
