Did I say retired?

"The Dark Kind", I know, that I mentioned; I would finish, is still in progress, nearly done. I also mentioned three other books that at sometime or another I would fix (as I was rather embarrassed by the original published books). One was "A Pale Shadow Creeps" I am about to republish it as "The Pale Shadow" which I am happy with.

I think it a wonderful tale that I did not pay enough attention to at the time of writing. Now I think it a tale worth reading. Judge for yourselves.

So, retired, I am working, still, on "The Dark Kind" and it will be a monstrous cracker of a tale. I have also decided to write another (short) book as a follow up to "Nut Brown Eyes" and "Cold Blue Eyes" called "Sad Green Eyes" and I will tell you more of its progress as time passes.
I suppose that my retirement is not "real" retirement. I will (assuming I do not die) finish "The Dark Kind",, "Sad Green Eyes" and rework the other two books I made a mess of. I hope to live long enough to do so. Whilst I am doing all this I hope that the new (good) version of "The Pale Shadow" will keep you entertained until my next novel.
Thanks for reading.

What’s New With Raymond Walker

Mid May 2025 will see the release of "The Pale Shadow" . An unusual ghost story. Raymond wishes this to be a quiet release as it follows the story of an earlier (deleted) book that he wished to improve.

"The Dark Kind" will follow before the end of this year (2025) a completely new novel and an ending to all of the river tales.  It will be hearalded, Proclaimed and advertised as both the publishers and public are awaiting a conclusion to "The dead girl and the wandering tree".  After that will come "Sad Green Eyes" around may 2026. Then...who knows.
