Perhaps this is just me but this did not offer the guffaws, the smiles, the titters and trumpeting laughs that many of Terry's books offer me. I am tired and rather weary so this may just be me and the book better than I imagine but he has written so many good books that I think of this book as lesser than his many triumphs. I do not mind being shouted down if all disagree but for me not the best of his works.
