Nightflyers.

I like George R R Martin; a fan of "Game of Thrones", but this is not the best of books. I did enjoy "Nightflyers" but thought it could have been "realised" more, another story that I cannot recall the name of now was also very good, otherwise the tales felt like unfinished fill in's added in to fill up a collection designed to make money rather than show off the work of the author. I enjoyed this but apart from the title story and one other it was lacking bite.
