Retired.

Updated: May 16, 2025

I keep telling everyone that I am now retired. I am entering my twilight years. I have retired. I no longer do any real work, lol, except in the garden, or in the house when my wife tells me to. I no longer produce Magazines (sold those titles a while a go even though I am still credited with production), nor edit the works of other authors but I have not stopped writing. Not yet. Two weeks from now "The Pale Shadow" will be released. This is not a new book but rather a reworking of "A Pale Shadow Creeps" which was released ages ago.
I have produced thirty odd books in my writing career. Most of them I am rather pleased with but I have three where I have always thought; I failed; Bad editing, bad story telling or just "could have been better". "A Pale Shadow Creeps" was one of them. I intend to fix the three culprits before I die. This is the first of them.
What was once "A Pale Shadow Creeps" has become "The Pale Shadow" and a far better tale, easier to red, though you still have to put up with the first person narrative. I liked that even when few others did.
This is a much better book. In my opinion.

A monster, encapsulated in light.
A monster, encapsulated in light.

I will try to fix the other two books I hate before I pop my clogs. In the meantime I want to tell you of two other books, new books that I also wish to finish before the end. I shall do so soon.

What’s New With Raymond Walker

May the first 2026 will see the release of "The Dark Kind" . a dark Faerie Tale. The River Tales have been going on for almost twenty years and May this year will see them all concluded in a very dranatic finale.

a completely new novel and an ending to all of the river tales.  It will be hearalded, Proclaimed and advertised as both the publishers and public are awaiting a conclusion to "The dead girl and the wandering tree".  Well this is it.

"Sad Green Eyes" will follow soon after. I hope. and a little while after that "The living room" though that may be twenty twentyseven.
