The Burning Girls by C J Tudor

Just my thing this novel. Easily read, pretty well written and an enjoyable page turner. I would have sworn this was written by a scandi author until I looked her up. I will tell you little of the book other than to say it mixes the ghost/horror and detective fiction genre’s with style and content.

Were I too pick out one little thing in this very enjoyable dark tale. It would be that there is little that stays with you. A few better lines, more of the religious morality, perhaps. Do not let me put you off as this is a great novel. Well worth a read for all those who enjoy detective fiction, horror and even ghostly tales.

What’s New With Raymond Walker

Mid May 2025 will see the release of "The Pale Shadow" . An unusual ghost story. Raymond wishes this to be a quiet release as it follows the story of an earlier (deleted) book that he wished to improve.

"The Dark Kind" will follow before the end of this year (2025) a completely new novel and an ending to all of the river tales.  It will be hearalded, Proclaimed and advertised as both the publishers and public are awaiting a conclusion to "The dead girl and the wandering tree".  After that will come "Sad Green Eyes" around may 2026. Then...who knows.
