A new book from Raymond Walker? Why have I not seen it advertised, why is no one talking about it?
Well,
Many years ago I published the book "A Pale shadow Creeps" I was involved with many projects around then and had ran out of time before the publication date and so the book was released without editing, cleaning and clearing. Essentially it was a first or second draft of the novel. I have never made any secret of the fact that when getting a story out; I mainstream it, writing and writing until it is complete. I like doing it that way but it leaves you with a manuscript that is all over the place. Badly spelled, no grammar whatsoever and a disjointed piece of work. I then rewrite it about ten or twelve times and (hopefully) end up with a book readers enjoy. "A Pale Shadow Creeps", has not been the only novel that has slipped through the gaps." Winters Ghost" never met the time line and so was flawed and famously "Cornelius" an excellent novel destroyed by publishing deadlines and a computer crash.
So, having a little time on my hands, I have a year until "The Dark Kind" is due to be released I decided to correct one of my failures. So "A Pale Shadow Creeps" will be re-released in May of this year (2025) under the new title "The Pale Shadow". It will not be advertised except on my own spaces. I do not wish for those who bought the original version to have to pay again for what is essentially the same story. Lol- but fixed and easily readable this time.
If you have not read it, its worthy of a read now. If you have read it, its probably not worth your while reading it again even though it is a far better version.

If anyone wishes to buy the novel, I hope you enjoy it. I think that most will now.
