Will AI's write all the good books in the future?

AI is not intelligent enough to write novels. Yet.

One day it will be and will possibly even be able to produce novels to suit the vast majority of readers.

Yet. There will still be readers who do not wish an enjoyable read but prefer instead a challenge, those who, (for example) would read Peter Blake, Cixin Liu or Gregory Benford. Those that enjoy reading JP Sartre, Kafka and Bulgakov.

Unless AI grows exponentially which I suppose is possible eventually such feats are unlikely to be achieved by anything other than an organic mind.

The same applies to symphonies but sadly not to pop music, it seems to me, for the moment. I hope that changes.

What’s New With Raymond Walker

Mid May 2025 will see the release of "The Pale Shadow" . An unusual ghost story. Raymond wishes this to be a quiet release as it follows the story of an earlier (deleted) book that he wished to improve.

"The Dark Kind" will follow before the end of this year (2025) a completely new novel and an ending to all of the river tales.  It will be hearalded, Proclaimed and advertised as both the publishers and public are awaiting a conclusion to "The dead girl and the wandering tree".  After that will come "Sad Green Eyes" around may 2026. Then...who knows.
