I am conscious of my absence

It has been a while since I have posted. My time is filled with silly things like work and television, books, and gardening. But I enjoy these little mundane things. Mainly.
To try and restart this blog I thought to tell you of the books I have recently bought. Books that I am looking forward to reading. The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by
Shannon Chakraborty

Our Hideous Progeny: A thrilling Gothic Adventure by C.E. McGill.

The Symposium by Plato.

And to give myself a small light relief and a laugh I bought "Raising Steam" one of the few "Terry Pratchett" novels I have not read. I am looking forward to having a good laugh.

Once I read all the others.

I will be back soon. Till then, stay safe and prosper.

What’s New With Raymond Walker

Mid May 2025 will see the release of "The Pale Shadow" . An unusual ghost story. Raymond wishes this to be a quiet release as it follows the story of an earlier (deleted) book that he wished to improve.

"The Dark Kind" will follow before the end of this year (2025) a completely new novel and an ending to all of the river tales.  It will be hearalded, Proclaimed and advertised as both the publishers and public are awaiting a conclusion to "The dead girl and the wandering tree".  After that will come "Sad Green Eyes" around may 2026. Then...who knows.
