The way of all Flesh.

Updated: Sep 20, 2019

A strange fellow, I enjoy Dickens, Voltaire, Moliere, London, and Hesse but I think with all my reading I have become inured to the darkness in crime fiction, though I can still be surprised on occasion. This novel was well written and portrayed a darkness I have not seen before from Christopher Brookmyre. Perhaps his wife who collaborated in this novel dragged him down into the darkness. I cannot say, except to tell you this is a good read with well plotted characters, some revelations, as far as early medicine and anesthesia (all came as news to me) I can tell you however, that this book is well worth a read. I enjoyed it.

I recommend it.

What’s New With Raymond Walker

May the first 2026 will see the release of "The Dark Kind" . a dark Faerie Tale. The River Tales have been going on for almost twenty years and May this year will see them all concluded in a very dranatic finale.

a completely new novel and an ending to all of the river tales.  It will be hearalded, Proclaimed and advertised as both the publishers and public are awaiting a conclusion to "The dead girl and the wandering tree".  Well this is it.

"Sad Green Eyes" will follow soon after. I hope. and a little while after that "The living room" though that may be twenty twentyseven.
